The story
I'm Mark Jarrett. I've spent 25 years in the trades.
I started in the field. Then I ran the work. Then I owned the business. At every one of those stages I saw the same thing: the work was out there. Permits were getting pulled, bids were going out, and GCs were looking for subs they could trust. But the contractors doing the best work were too busy doing it to chase the next job.
AI changed what's possible. Finding permits, watching bid boards, building partner lists and following up by email are exactly the kind of repetitive work an AI agent does well, as long as someone who knows the trades sets it up right and the contractor stays in control of what goes out.
